Tools and Registries
This area hosts useful digital services and resources developed and provided by members of the DYAS network. These services are offered to Humanities scholars and cultural collections managers (e.g. archivists, librarians, museum curators) in order to promote the practices of sharing open data and systems interoperability.
This registry consists of the following set of three papers prepared by the ICCS within the framework of the project DARIAH-GR Developing a Greek Research Infrastructure for the Humanities DYAS:
- Ontology-based content access focusses on the state-of-the-art systems and tools for knowledge representation and semantic query answering and describes their functionalities and characteristics. ΠΑ.1.4.ΕΠΙΣΕΥ.1
- Ontology-based query answering services provide a set of tools to facilitate knowledge-based query answering services. These tools implement modern and robust technologies that ensure interoperability with regards to automatic communication between search engines and applications. ΠΑ.1.4.ΕΠΙΣΕΥ.2
- Semantic metadata enrichment tools provide a list of available tools and systems for creating links between data from various sources and linked data. ΠΑ.1.4.ΕΠΙΣΕΥ.3
This tool was developed within the project DARIAH-GR Developing a Greek Research Infrastructure for the Humanities DYAS. The user, an arts and humanities researcher or scholar can use the registries to access information on Greek institutions or individuals, and the collections, both analogue and digital, they own or manage.
